Draftsman/Estimator
Bierschbach Equipment & Supply is a regional provider of construction equipment and supplies dealing primarily in the construction industry. We are a dependable, well-established company that’s been in business for more than 45 years.
Successful candidates will have a track record of strong performance in the construction industry preparing quotes and supporting drawings for materials used in the construction of highways, utilities, bridges/structures, and commercial/agricultural buildings (including formwork/foundations and related construction supplies). Projects may span multiple states, so strong organization and the ability to manage bid timelines are important.
Beneficial skills and experience to be utilized in this position include:
Hands-on experience and overall familiarity with the construction industry and its equipment and supplies
Experience drafting and estimating from plans/specifications, including revisions/addenda
Excellent problem-solving, customer relations, and time management skills are a must in this position
Working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D) and Microsoft Excel
Ability to communicate clearly with sales/operations/vendors to resolve questions and keep bids on track
