Dozer Operator – Alder Creek Aggregates
The successful candidate will join our team at the gravel pit, operating a bulldozer to maintain fill piles, manage site organization, and support daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their equipment, and values being part of a positive, team-oriented environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $28–$35/hour (based on experience)
Benefits: Group benefits, RRSP matching, and profit sharing
Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operate a bulldozer in a gravel pit environment
Maintain and manage fill piles to support efficient site operations
Grade roadways and ensure the tipping face is level, clear, and safe for incoming trucks
Keep dozer tracks clean and in good working condition
Perform general labour duties as required to support the team
Assist with routine preventative maintenance on equipment
Complete daily equipment inspections, including fueling and greasing
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Work safely in and around heavy equipment, tools, and active job sites
Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
Perform other duties as assigned
Desired Skills & Experience
Previous experience operating a bulldozer required
Experience in a gravel pit, quarry, or similar environment is considered an asset
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
Reliable, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
