Job Description:

The Lead .NET Developer will be responsible for delegating tasks to and overseeing a team of 3 more developers. The work will be aligned with product offerings and managed through an Agile-like methodology. The Lead Developer will be an innovator and strong coder, and will work closely with the Architecture team to ensure standards are being followed and quality measures are being met. Leading team stand-ups and ensuring sprint goals are achieved will be a top priority, in addition to being a significant coding contributor in completing sprint tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned.)

Ø Create a ground-breaking Behavioral Health Electronic Medical Record System

Lead a small team of developers by organizing stand-up meetings, delegating tasks, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring timelines is met

Ø Develop new features based on technical specifications and user stories created by Business Analysts

Ø Create Responsive UI applications for multiple end-user environments and platforms

Ø Derive and adhere to timelines for project deliverables

Ø Critically evaluate the impact of application design on database performance

Ø Contribute to platform architecture decisions by exhibiting technical leadership and expertise

Ø Follow change control and deployment procedures 

Ø Create and execute unit tests to ensure few (if any) defects are promoted to Quality Assurance

Ø Perform code reviews for peers

Ø Ensure adherence to legal and compliance requirements from various federal, state local and healthcare governing agencies

Ø Assist in the creation of system documentation that will be used to help support the platform

COMPETENCIES:

Ø Proficient with VisualStudio 2013, Automapper, Web Essentials, Team Foundation Server, and cloud-based (Azure) development
