Job Description:

The Senior .NET Developer will be involved in developing customizations to the Electronic Health Record platform, which is based on SQL Server 2012. These customizations will be in the form of web resources that are presented as single-page applications. Other customizations include a MVC 4 portal, workflow, and web services. The end result is a very configurable and powerful platform that has the ability to grow and scale efficiently as business requirements change.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work in an Agile environment to enhance and maintain existing .NET infrastructure and resources
• Develop new features based on technical specifications and user stories created by Business Analysts
• Create Responsive UI applications for multiple end-user environments and platforms
• Derive and adhere to timelines for project deliverables
• Critically evaluate the impact of application design on database performance
• Contribute to platform architecture decisions by exhibiting technical leadership and expertise
• Follow change control and deployment procedures 
• Create and execute unit tests to ensure few (if any) defects are promoted to Quality Assurance
• Perform code reviews for peers
• Ensure adherence to legal and compliance requirements from various federal, state local and healthcare governing agencies
• Assist in the creation of system documentation that will be used to help support the platform

COMPETENCIES:

• Well versed in HTML 5, CSS 3, C#, jQuery, AJAX, TypeScript, KnockoutJS, and Angular
• Working experience with MVC 4, MVVM, SOAP, WebAPI, WCF, Workflow Foundation, and Entity Framework
• Proficient with VisualStudio 2013, Automapper, Web Essentials, Team Foundation Server, and cloud-based (Azure) development
• Superb communication (verbal and written) skills
