The Domestic Student Recruitment Manager leads Griffith College’s operations, and performance for the recruitment of Domestic (Australian) students across both the Brisbane and Gold Coast campuses.  The role is responsible for driving enrolment growth through effective lead generation, relationship management, conversion, and retention activities, while ensuring full compliance with all legislative, regulatory, and institutional requirements governing higher education student recruitment.
The position maintains high-value relationships with Tertiary Admissions Centres (TACs), secondary schools, partner university teams and community stakeholders.  It also oversees the end-to-end domestic admissions pipeline, ensuring efficient workflows, accurate decision-making, and a high-quality experience for prospective students.
 
Essential:
• Undergraduate degree and a minimum two years’ experience in sales, recruitment or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstratec success achieving sales or recruitment targets in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong, credible relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret recruitment data and inform strategic decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to communicate effectively with students and staff from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality, professional, and timely service.
Desirable:
• Experience in the Australian higher‑education or VET sector. 
• Knowledge of the Australian Higher Education regulatory environment, including TAC processes and admissions frameworks.
• Experience developing and delivering successful student recruitment strategies.
Additional Requirements:
• Ability to travel regularly across South‑East Queensland, namely Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
• Availability to work evenings or weekends during peak recruitment periods and major events as required.
• Current driver’s license.
• This role requires a minimum of four (4) days working on campus weekly when not travelling.
