PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Within the Customer Services and Delivery (CS&D) board area, the mission of SAP Enterprise Cloud Services is to shape the future of SAP by providing a comprehensive, end-to-end managed services experience that supports customers throughout their cloud transformation journey. Our goal is to offer a range of cloud deployment options, leveraging SAP’s infrastructure, partner infrastructures, and public cloud platforms. SAP is the global market leader for business software and thus contributes a considerable part of the world's economic power grid. cloud offerings, such as Cloud ERP, in the SAP portfolio.

As a Cloud Architect & Advisor (CAA), we are looking for graduates with an interest in pursuing a career as a Technical Architect in Cloud. Working within the Cloud Architecture & Engineering team in ECS, you will be contributing to SAP's Global strategy of helping customers with adoption of Cloud ERP, private as part of their business transformation via the RISE with SAP journey.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Cloud Architect & Advisor (CAA), you will be responsible for technically assessing our customers transformation to Cloud ERP. The dimensions of this assessment will be across technical architecture, SAP operations, cybersecurity and compliance, technical networking and integration, and finally on system provisioning and solution consumption.

You will be collaborating both with our field sales teams, our delivery units, and other architecture and engineering functions within ECS.

WHAT YOU BRING

Customer facing experience is an advantage
High proficiency in customer communications and presentations
Good understanding of technical capabilities of at least one hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud)
Understanding of data center capabilities like high availability or disaster recovery is a benefit
Good understanding of the entire platform stack (storage, virtualization, hardware, networks etc.)
SAP HANA and S/4 HANA and broader SAP solution knowledge is a benefit.
Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity.
Foundational knowledge of enterprise architecture.
Self-sufficient worker and strong team player
Affinity to technical topics, willingness to tackle aspects outside the comfort zone and to continuously learn.
Fluency in English is a must, any other language (French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic) is a huge advantage.
