As an online notary, your duties are to provide independent third-party witness to the online notarization of official documents.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
• Perform remote online notarizations (RON) for timeshare owners via third-party platform.
• Schedule notarization appointments with timeshare owners based on intercompany requests.
• Verify signer's identity, witness, and notarize the signing of important timeshare documents using audio-visual technology in compliance with Florida RON laws.
• Ensure all notarizations are completed accurately and securely. • Maintain confidentiality and uphold high ethical standards.
• Provide timely and professional service to timeshare owners. 
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: One year certificate from college or technical school; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Must be flexible to work the following:
                a) Six (6) weeks of paid training provided Monday through Friday.
                b) Must be flexible to work a hybrid schedule. Mornings and evenings, Monday through Friday. Forty                        (40) hours per week.
                c) Must be able to commute and work on-site at the Ocoee office multiple times a week
                d) No weekends.
*Both the hours(a) and the ability to work a hybrid position(b) and weekend(d) may be subject to change to accommodate evolving business needs. Flexibility with scheduling is expected to ensure smooth operations.
*All Document Management Notaries must abide to the hybrid schedule of three morning shifts (8:00 am- 4:30pm) and two late shifts (10:30am-7:00pm) per week. Amendments to this Updated: 09.2024 schedule may not be approved due to business needs and may require the use of Vacation and or Sick time to be submitted if approved.
To ensure smooth and efficient work while working from home, it's imperative that you have a highspeed internet connection. This will help avoid any connectivity issues and support your productivity during tasks that require consistent and reliable internet access.
• Fluent in English language required. (Bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese helpful but not required)
• Valid Florida Notary Public Commission with RON certification required.
• Experience in remote online notarization or other related experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent follow up skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must have high-speed internet connection and modem.
• Must have dedicated office/workspace with little to no distractions.
• Must be able to make and receive telephone calls.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to trouble-shoot & fix minor computer problems independently.
• Ability to operate a computer, telephone, calculator, and other related office equipment.
• Ability to visually review handwritten and computer-generated documents, as well as view a computer screen.
• Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively with team members and customers in a professional manner. • Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods of time.
