About Your Role
The Document Controls Specialist supports aviation construction projects by managing project documentation, ensuring accuracy, organization, and timely distribution of all records. This role maintains control of RFIs, submittals, drawings, and contract documents while supporting project teams with document tracking, reporting, and compliance with MWAA standards. The position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of project information and ensuring efficient communication between stakeholders.
Education Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred
What You’ll Need to Get the Job Done
3 to 7 years of document controls experience on construction or infrastructure projects
Experience with eBuilder, Procore, Aconex, or similar systems
Strong organizational and communication skills
What You’ll Do
Maintain project files, RFIs, submittals, and as-built records
Manage document control processes and version tracking
Support design schedule monitoring and reporting
Track contract documents and change orders
Prepare reporting inputs for project controls
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data requirements
Coordinate document flow between stakeholders
