Overall Responsibility:
This position is responsible for the daily administration of the quality function.
Focus Area 1: Retention Sample Management
Retain production quality records
Accountable for the management and maintenance of the brewery document control system
Focus Area 2: Retention Sample Management
Ownership of the production retention sample process
Manage the retention sample store and ensure stock rotation
Document and follow up on action plans
Manage document retention as per the document retention policy
Train staff on the document management system
Manage and audit the overall site document management system
Manage NCR and concession record-keeping and trend analysis
Update HACCP plans
Prepare and circulate monthly food meeting communications and minutes
Schedule monthly food safety meetings
Drive close-out of NCRs from audits
Conduct mock recalls and traceability exercises
Conduct food safety inductions and audits
Schedule and drive food safety reviews
Review audit reports and action corrective and preventive plans
Focus Area 3: Supporting Manufacturing Excellence
Facilitate the implementation of Quality pillar requirements
Support weekly and monthly quality report data trends
Facilitate the implementation of ISO 22000
Support traceability drills
Support and comply with SHE pillar requirements
Facilitate the Quality 5S drive
Minimum Requirements:
National Diploma in Biotechnology / Food Technology
Sound knowledge of operating computer systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Beverage manufacturing experience preferred
Preferred Skills/ Competencies:
Ability to communicate clearly, with strong interpersonal skills, and to work well in a team environment
Good record-keeping skills
