We have immediate openings for "Divisional Manager / Sr Manager – Product Design" for our Reputed MNC Client located in Dharwad.

About Position:

Position: Divisional Manager / Sr Manager – Product Design

Experience: 8+ years

Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering

Location: Dharwad

Job Role:

1. Lead a team of designers and provide expertise in improving the quality of designs and resolving critical design issues.

2. Manage and track the design releases. Communicate and update the design release to the various stake holders.

3. Monitor the implementation of DMLs at the production line.

4. Resolve line issues and extend support in order to improve the first Shot Ok.

5. Analyse the field failures and extend support to the designers for prevention.

6. Analyse and address the IPTV / Warranty / Quality related issues and cost reduction initiatives.

7. Improve the skill and competency levels of the designers through various interventions.

Skill Sets:

1. Knowledge of Design Softwares

2. Hands-on working experience in AutoCAD, Catia, Pro E, Solid Works E3, 3D

3. Solid modelling and drawing details.

4. Design and development of harness, electrical and electronic components

5. Integration of body and chassis electricals.

6. Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, Chassis Aggregates, Bus body building and Integration

7. Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is desirable.

8. Knowledge of Vehicle Dynamics.
