Dispatch Responsibilities

Answer incoming customer calls for service with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Proactively call customers to schedule or reschedule service appointments.

Efficiently organize and manage calls on the dispatch board, ensuring timely responses and accurate scheduling.

Dispatch service technicians to customer locations, considering their skills, availability, and proximity to the job site.

Maintain accurate customer records and promptly address any customer concerns or issues.

Perform general office tasks as needed, including data entry, filing, and answering emails.

Effectively track paused jobs and reschedule them in a timely manner.

Participate in an on-call rotation schedule with other exempt staff members.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of dispatching experience in a service industry environment within the last 5 years.

General knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems a must.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

Proficient in using computers and dispatching software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
