Asim Logistics is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver Amazon packages. DSPs are independent businesses that partner with Amazon to deliver packages and do basic assembly of furniture. Our Delivery Drivers strive to get every Amazon order to the customer’s door on-time. We offer full and part-time opportunities.
MUST BE OPEN TO WORKING WEEKENDS AND DOING ATLEAST 2 SPLIT SHIFTS PER WEEK (8 AM-12:00 PM and 4:30 PM - 9 PM APPROX.)
MUST HAVE COMMERCIAL TRUCK OR BUS DRIVING EXPERIENCE TO BE AN EMERGENCY BACKUP TO EXECUTE ROUTES (PROBABILITY APPROX 5%)
Ensure ALL routes committed to Amazon are executed daily, on time and safely
Ensure DAILY sufficient trucks (minimum equal to routes committed plus two spare) are ready to go for the next day to fulfill our route commitment to Amazon
Ensure fleet inspections are done by truck attendant for EACH truck and van daily during your shifts
End of day report completion for owner
Ensure daily rostering of employees is done in the system
Ensure compliance of pre/post trips, scheduled deliveries and special services by all drivers during your shifts
Follow up daily with all rostered employees a day in advance and the morning of shift to ensure full attendance
Ensure DAILY loadout is executed timely and safely
Coach and council drivers to ensure their performance scorecard is consistently Fantastic Plus by monitoring their real-time driving performance using Netradyne cameras and Cortex (Amazon's portal)
Monitor and control labor cost by creating efficiencies and auditing timeclock daily
Coordinate with fleet vendors and open tickets immediately for any fleet requiring preventative maintenance and repairs during your shifts
Address Amazon Managers' questions and concerns regarding drivers performance promptly responding to their emails and Chime messages
Address employee concerns and prevent escalations and attrition
Inventory Management of truck keys, uniforms, phone devices, fuel cards, office supplies etc.'
 
Driver Duties and Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently deliver bulky packages at all times.
Perform BASIC furniture assembly (training provided during onboarding).
Must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
Load and unload packages to be delivered
Lift packages between 50-300 lbs. with assistance of a helper and tools like dolly, lift gate etc.
