We are currently looking for a Dispatcher to join our logistics team covering the Lower Mainland, Sunshine Coast, and assisting with Vancouver Island operations. This position will be based out of our facilities in Burnaby, BC. This is a full-time role which will include some weekend work and after-hours calls.
The Dispatcher’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Route planning for our fuel and lubricant delivery trucks
Preparing loads
Managing and reconciling inventories
Communicating with our customers, taking inbound orders and providing updates
Working as part of our team with other Dispatchers, Drivers, and Admin staff
Other administrative duties such as invoicing

Experience and Qualifications:
A minimum of three years logistics experience
Knowledge of geographic areas of the Lower Mainland is crucial
Ability to work in and be supportive of a strong team environment
Strong written and oral communication skills are essential - the successful candidate will be interacting with multiple customers and company drivers every day, by phone, email, and text message
Ability to adapt to changing priorities or challenges
Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail
Strong computer skills with a high proficiency level with the MS 365 suite, specifically Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook
Ability to learn new software and new technologies
