The Role

The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, tableware, cooking utensils, and food preparation equipment in our Midway kitchen. The role ensures that cooks and bakers always have a steady supply of clean dishes to prepare and serve food safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans, etc. using either an industrial dishwashing machine or by hand, following health and safety standards

Dry and organize clean dishes and return them to their proper storage locations.

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils, ensuring all areas meet required sanitation guidelines

Dispose of trash properly and empty/clean garbage cans regularly

Assist with restocking supplies such as utensils in serving stations or fridges

Sweep and mop floors in the dish area and kitchen, addressing any spills or broken dishes promptly

Report any equipment malfunctions or sanitation concerns to supervisors

Occasionally assist with unloading deliveries, cleaning appliances, or minor food prep, as requested

On occasion, take on additional cleaning tasks such as storage room cleaning or restocking stations

What You’ll Need

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (standing, lifting up to 20 lbs for extended periods)

Strong attention to detail and adherence to food safety practices

A current food handler’s permit

Good organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities

No formal education required; most training is provided on the job

About the Opportunity

This is a part-time, non-exempt position

Work week is Monday through Saturday(with daily hours varying depending on need)

This position requires work to be performed on-site in Midway, UT
