Overview
Las Vegas Petroleum is actively seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Your contribution will help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, supporting our food service operations across our travel centers, including restaurants and diners. Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooks.
• Store clean dishes and utensils properly in designated areas.
• Support kitchen staff during peak hours by assisting with other tasks as required.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor in a timely manner.

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while paying attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with effective communication abilities.
• A willingness to learn and assist with various kitchen tasks as needed.
