About the Role
At Sydney Health & Care Services (SHCS), we support people with compassion, respect, and genuine partnership. We are currently seeking a reliable and community-focused Disability Support Worker to support an adult participant living with a physical disability in Raymond Terrace.
This role is best suited to someone who enjoys supporting independence, working alongside participants in a respectful way, and providing consistent, practical support within the community and home environment.

Availability & Commitment (Essential)
To support consistency and continuity of care, applicants must:
Be available for short shifts (2–4 hours) across weekdays and weekends
Be able to commit to ongoing, regular hours
Be willing and able to work consistently in Raymond Terrace
This role is best suited to candidates who live locally or can reliably travel to the area.

What the Role Involves
Domestic assistance and light household tasks
Community access and social support
Encouraging independence and daily routines
Following care plans and safety requirements
Completing clear and accurate documentation
Essential Experience & Skills
Experience in disability or community support
Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or similar
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
First Aid & CPR
Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
