Hugel Aesthetics is building a world-class U.S. commercial organization to support the growth of its premium aesthetics portfolio. We are seeking a Director, U.S. Operations & Logistics to serve as the operational backbone of our supply chain—ensuring products move seamlessly from manufacturing in Korea to U.S. distribution partners and ultimately to customers with exceptional reliability, transparency, and care.
This role is the captain of our outsourced supply chain, acting as the critical bridge between Hugel and our third-party logistics partners. You will own end-to-end execution while building scalable systems, processes, and partnerships that support rapid growth and a best-in-class customer experience.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a startup or high-growth environment—equally comfortable setting strategy, negotiating contracts, and diving into day-to-day problem solving when needed.
What You’ll Do
End-to-End Operations Leadership
Own the operational flow of product from manufacturing in Korea through U.S. distribution, warehousing, and fulfillment
Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant movement of goods across international and domestic supply chains
Serve as the single point of accountability for product availability and order fulfillment
Distributor & Vendor Management
Act as the primary relationship owner for all third-party logistics and distribution partners
Build strong, collaborative partnerships while holding vendors accountable to SLAs, KPIs, and contractual commitments
Proactively identify performance gaps and escalate issues to resolution
Performance Monitoring & Analytics
Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators, including:
On-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery
Order accuracy
Inventory accuracy
Cycle times and fulfillment lead times
Translate performance data into actionable insights and continuous improvement initiatives
Customer Ordering Platform & Experience
Lead the build-out and ongoing optimization of the customer ordering platform
Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, IT, Finance, and Customer Service teams to deliver a premium customer experience
Ensure seamless integration between ordering systems, ERP, and 3PL WMS platforms
Inventory Control & Systems Integrity
Own inventory management across all U.S. distribution locations
Ensure data accuracy and reconciliation between internal systems and third-party warehouse systems
Implement controls to minimize discrepancies, obsolescence, and stockouts
Process Excellence & SOP Development
Design, document, and implement SOPs that improve efficiency, quality, and cost control
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics, warehousing, and fulfillment operations
Contract Negotiation & Budget Management
Negotiate logistics contracts, freight rates, and service agreements
Own the logistics budget and identify opportunities for cost optimization
Balance cost discipline with service excellence
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with safety standards, trade regulations, customs requirements, and import/export controls
Anticipate operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect supply continuity
Business Reviews & Strategic Alignment
Lead Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with logistics partners
Align operational performance with company growth plans and commercial strategy
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations, ideally within biotech, pharma, medical devices, aesthetics, or similarly regulated environments
Direct experience managing outsourced 3PL relationships
Experience with international supply chains, including imports from Asia
Hands-on experience with ERP systems, WMS integrations, and order management platforms
Prior Director-level experience in a regulated or quality-driven environment strongly preferred
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup or high-growth setting

Compensation
The most likely base pay range for this position is $180,000 to $210,000 per year. Several factors, such as experience, tenure, skills, and particular business needs, will determine an individual’s exact level of compensation. Base salary is only one element of employee compensation at Hugel Aesthetics. The total compensation could include base salary, bonuses, and equity awards.
