Director, Total Rewards & Analytics
As Astranis’s Director of Total Rewards & Analytics, you will lead a business-critical function that shapes how we pay, support, and empower a fast-growing team. You’ll work side-by-side with our SVP of People to create the analytics muscle that helps us make smarter, faster people decisions. This role blends strategy, hands-on execution, and company-shaping impact.
Responsibilities:
• Design and evolve our compensation philosophy, frameworks, and leveling.
• Oversee base pay, equity and benefits offerings, leveraging our tools (Radford, Pave, Salary.com) to benchmark these offerings against our peers.
• Manage benefits strategy, vendor relationships, renewals, and plan optimization.
• Partner with the SVP of People to build the people analytics function - leveraging pre-built dashboards to pull insights and reporting for leaders across the company.
• Partner with Finance on headcount planning, workforce modeling, and budgeting.
• Ensure compliance across jurisdictions; lead audits and policy updates.
• Advise execs and managers on reward decisions, tradeoffs, and market trends.
• Improve systems and data integrity across HRIS, equity platforms, and analytics tools.
• Lead a small team; develop processes that scale with company growth.
Requirements:
• 10+ years in compensation, benefits, or total rewards; strong analytics background.
• Expertise in comp design, equity structures, market data, and benefits regulations.
• Advanced Excel/Sheets; familiarity with reporting dashboards, ability to story tell with data.
• Strong business judgment and ability to translate data into action.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.

Base pay is a single component of Astranis's total rewards package, which may also include equity in the form of incentive stock options, high quality company-subsidized healthcare, disability and life insurance benefits, flexible PTO, 401(K) retirement, and free on-site catered meals.
Astranis pay ranges are informed and defined through professional-grade salary surveys and compensation data sources. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, and the level and scope of the position.
Base Salary
$200,000—$230,000 USD
