Director, Solution Architecture "VK26"

Syntiant Corporation seeks a Director, Solution Architecture in Irvine, CA.

• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive enterprise technology architecture roadmap, aligned with business goals and IT strategy.
• Oversee the solution architecture team in defining, designing, and documenting complex technology solutions across diverse domains (specify relevant domains if applicable).
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
• Evaluate and select the most appropriate technologies, platforms, and cloud solutions (if applicable) for specific business needs.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and compliance requirements.
• Lead solution design workshops and actively manage the solution design lifecycle. Develop and maintain architectural standards and best practices.
• Mentor and coach solution architects, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team.
• Manage vendor relationships with key technology partners. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the architecture remains adaptable and futureproof.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
• Develop and manage the solution architecture budget.
• Lead presentations and discussions on technical solutions and architectural decisions.

Requirements:
• Requires a Master’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field or foreign equivalent and three years in a Senior Solution Architecture or related occupation.
• Experience must include managing complex solutions, guiding teams, and making high-impact architectural decisions
• Utilizing system design principles, scalability, security, and performance optimization; designing and implementing complex technology solutions across various technology domains (cloud, on-premise, hybrid)
• Using solution architecture methodologies including TOGAF or Zachman Framework; and working with cloud computing principles and their integration into solutions.
