Director - Roads and Parking (MAS5-20003769)

As the Director of Roads and Parking at Qiddiya Investment Company, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing innovative road and parking solutions for one of the world's most exciting new entertainment destinations. You'll lead a talented team in creating infrastructure that enhances accessibility, visitor experience, and the operational efficiency of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the Strategic Planning and Policy Development
• Develop and implement long-term strategies for the road network and parking systems.
• Create policies that support traffic management, road safety, and sustainable transportation practices.
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national regulations concerning roadways and parking.
• Oversee the construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation of roads, highways, and parking facilities.
• Prioritize projects based on condition assessments, traffic demands, and available funding.
• Ensure roadways and parking areas meet safety standards, accessibility requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and manage the annual budget for roads and parking services, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Explore funding opportunities, including grants, partnerships, and alternative financing options.
• Supervise major road and parking development projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Develop and implement strategies for managing traffic flow, reducing congestion, and enhancing road safety.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in road and parking infrastructure management, with significant experience in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience managing large, complex infrastructure projects with successful outcomes.
• In-depth knowledge of road design standards, parking systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Exceptional leadership abilities, capable of motivating and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges effectively.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
• Familiarity with the latest technologies in transportation and parking management systems is a plus.
