Role Purpose:
• Manage the team that reviews third party data rights for D&A/Risk Intelligence product offerings and sales deals to advise how best to comply with contractual agreements with Third Party Data Providers.
Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
• Manage Rights Management team
• Work with PRDF and AI Huddle committees to advise on third party data rights
• Field ad hoc rights management and compliance queries from Third Party Data Providers
• Participate in commercial product and deal offering governance committee forums
• Provide rights management input to product launch preparation.
• Drive the activities required to repackage third-party content services into these agreed packages such that they can be technically entitled and commercially fulfilled in line with third-party usage rights and restrictions.
• Assist in rights management matters related to redistribution.
Scope and Impact:
• Scope includes product and content across all D&A and Risk Intelligence products as well as Client Consulting solutions.
Skills and Competencies:
• Strong understanding of financial market and reference data
• Deep understanding of product set-up, administration and entitlements
• Deep understanding of third-party content commercial models and usage rights
• Proven track record of managing complex compliance matters
• Strong commercial acumen

Professional Experience:
• Experience in data licensing, compliance, rights management, vendor management, proposition, product or program management

• Ability to find the right balance between commercial value and compliance risk
• Ability to absorb large amounts of detail and complexity
• Highly collaborative – can work across horizontal teams and knows when to lead and when to follow
• Strong presence
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to make sense of ambiguous data; act confidently / make well-reasoned business decisions when in possession of imperfect knowledge
• Strong negotiation skills (internal and external)

Compensation/Benefits Information:
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $143,100 - $238,500.
Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/”bonus plan”). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
