Position Summary
We are hiring a Director, Revenue Cycle & Data Analytics to lead enterprise-wide revenue cycle performance across multiple clinics. This role owns the full revenue cycle—from intake/eligibility and authorizations through charge capture, claims, posting, denials, A/R follow-up, refunds, and reporting. You will drive measurable improvements in cash collections, DSO, denial prevention/recovery, and net collections, while building scalable dashboards, SOPs, and accountability rhythms across all sites.
Enterprise Revenue Cycle Leadership
Lead end-to-end RCM performance across multiple locations and service lines
Build standardized workflows and governance across intake, auth, billing, posting, follow-up, denials, and refunds
Denials Prevention + Recovery
Develop denial taxonomy and payer-specific playbooks
Strengthen appeals processes and root-cause remediation to reduce recurring denials
A/R & Cash Acceleration
Execute strategies to reduce A/R > 90 days, lower DSO, and improve cash forecasting
Implement weekly execution cadence to drive consistent collections performance
KPI Dashboards + Analytics
Build and maintain executive dashboards and site scorecards (Power BI or equivalent preferred)
Establish KPI definitions, reporting cadence, and accountability across markets
SOPs, Quality Controls, and Training
Create/refresh SOPs and training programs for scalable, repeatable execution
Implement QA processes, productivity standards, and performance management
Compliance & Audit Readiness
Ensure adherence to CMS/Medicaid/commercial payer rules and contract requirements
Partner with compliance to maintain audit-ready practices and reduce risk
Systems Optimization + Integrations
Serve as business owner for RCM tools/EMR workflows and automation
Support integrations/acquisitions and EMR transitions to protect revenue continuity
Team Leadership
Lead managers/leads with clear goals, coaching cadence, and performance expectations
Build staffing models tied to claim volume, aging, and productivity
Performance Metrics (How Success Is Measured)
Net Collection Rate (NCR)
DSO and A/R aging distribution (especially % > 90 days)
Clean claim rate / first-pass resolution
Denial rate and overturn rate
Cash collections vs forecast
Charge lag/time-to-bill
Auth/eligibility accuracy
Team productivity (touches/day, closure rates, follow-up cadence adherence)
Qualifications (Required)
5+ years progressive healthcare revenue cycle leadership experience
Multi-site or enterprise RCM oversight strongly preferred
Proven results improving cash collections, DSO, denial rates, and write-offs
Strong knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare/CMS and commercial payer rules
Demonstrated ability to build SOPs, dashboards, and accountability rhythm
Experience hiring, onboarding, and training RCM teams using standardized workflows/manuals
Advanced Excel and strong reporting/analytics capability
Preferred
Power BI (or similar BI tools) and data warehouse exposure (e.g., Snowflake)
Experience leading integrations/acquisitions or EMR transitions
Experience across high-volume claims environments and multiple service lines
