Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a dedicated and experienced Director - Project Delivery to join the Strategic Delivery Unit (SDU). In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of assigned projects within the SDU, ensuring they meet predefined quality, schedule, and budget targets.
The Director will lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards, driving excellence in project execution and contributing to Qiddiya’s vision of becoming a leading entertainment and lifestyle destination.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage project delivery activities within the SDU, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedules, resources, budgets, and risk management strategies.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively to prevent delays or cost overruns.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with overall company goals.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout project delivery.
• Manage contractual relationships with vendors, contractors, and consultants effectively.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports and updates to senior management.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within project teams.
• Mentor and develop project managers and team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of project delivery experience in large-scale, complex development projects.
• Proven track record managing multidisciplinary project teams and successfully delivering projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with contract management and vendor negotiation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is desirable.
