Versant is building a new, high-impact programmatic revenue function to support the growth of the Fandango Movie Network. We are seeking a Programmatic Account Executive to serve as the Programmatic Owner, responsible for driving revenue across Programmatic Guaranteed (PG), Private Marketplaces (PMP), and indirect programmatic demand.
This role blends sales leadership, programmatic strategy, and revenue ownership in a fast-growing, build-mode organization. You will act as the primary programmatic point of contact for agencies, studios, DSPs, and internal teams.
What You’ll Do
Programmatic Revenue & Partnerships
• Own a book of business across agencies, studios, and advertisers for programmatic buying
• Drive revenue through PG, PMP, and strategic programmatic partnerships
• Identify and grow new programmatic demand across agencies, DSPs, and brand teams
• Serve as the primary programmatic contact for assigned partners
Programmatic Strategy & Yield Ownership
• Own the overall programmatic revenue model across direct and indirect demand
• Partner with yield and monetization teams to:• Set pricing and floor strategy
• Prioritize SSPs and DSPs
• Balance guaranteed deals with backfill to maximize total revenue
• Use market data, delivery trends, and buyer behavior to continuously refine how inventory is sold
Cross-Functional Leadership
• Work closely with:• Programmatic Operations on deal setup, pacing, and delivery
• Yield & Supply on performance and optimization
• Direct Sales to support hybrid and studio-driven opportunities
• Ensure sold deals are executed cleanly and scale over time
Market Leadership
• Build and maintain relationships with:• Holding companies
• Agency trading desks
• DSPs (TTD, DV360, Amazon, Yahoo, etc.)
• Serve as a trusted voice on programmatic strategy, pricing, and product capabilities
What Success Looks Like
• PG and PMP become meaningful contributors to AVOD revenue
• Agencies adopt programmatic buying at scale on the Fandango Movie Network
• Indirect demand is optimized to efficiently monetize excess supply
• Programmatic revenue becomes predictable, scalable, and aligned to inventory strategy
Qualifications
• 5–10+ years in programmatic sales, agency trading desks, or publisher-side programmatic
• Strong experience selling Programmatic Guaranteed and PMPs
• Deep familiarity with CTV, AVOD, DSPs, and SSPs
• Comfortable working across sales, operations, and monetization teams
• Thrives in a build-mode, fast-growing media company
Additional Job Requirements
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office, a minimum of three days per week.
• Must be willing to work in the California or New York office
• Salary range: $185,000 - $225,000 base + commission
