Director, Product Strategy

Beyond has joined Qodea, Europe's largest dedicated Google Cloud partner to help businesses thrive in the next great wave of AI-driven change. Beyond is building a world-class team to support our mission of becoming Google Cloud's number one partner in North America. Reporting to the Director of Workplace Solutions, this senior, client-facing product role will be anchored to our Google account, working directly with our leadership to set the strategic direction for some of the most scrutinised digital products in the world.

The products we build tomorrow will be shaped by AI in ways that are still being written. We need someone who is steering through this shift. You will partner directly with Account Leadership to own product strategy and management and run point on daily activities for critical projects. You'll lead discovery, shape briefs, define roadmaps, present to senior partners, and guide teams from insight to delivery.

THE ROLE

You'll be equally at home in a strategy offsite and a sprint planning session. You write clean briefs and sharp decks. You know when to push back on a client and when to listen harder. You move fast, but you don't cut corners on thinking.

You’ll need a clear-eyed view of where AI tooling accelerates product work versus where it creates noise — and apply that judgment daily, across research synthesis, prototyping, experimentation, and decision-making. This role is as much about elevating Beyond's capability as it is about delivering for the world’s most valuable brands. You will make us sharper — in how we think, how we pitch, and how we work.

Requirements:
• Lead product strategy for the Google account — setting vision, framing opportunities, and translating ambiguity into actionable product direction
• Run end-to-end product discovery: stakeholder interviews, user research, synthesis, hypothesis generation, experiment design
• Define and manage product roadmaps that balance client ambition with delivery reality
• Create a strategic product backlogs, writing clear, outcome-focused epics and stories that drive development.
• Use AI tooling intelligently across research, prototyping, and analysis — and help the wider team do the same with discernment
• Develop business cases, product narratives, and go-to-market framing grounded in data and user insight
• Design and facilitate workshops that create real decisions, not just alignment theatre
• Write and present decks, briefs, and strategy documents that are precise, and built for the right audience
• Shape Beyond's product practice — setting standards, mentoring strategists, and contributing to how we work
• Play a meaningful role in business development: pitches, proposals, and expanding our remit with existing clients
• Contribute thought leadership: develop POVs, author insights, and represent Beyond in your area of expertise.

Essential Experience

• 5+ years in a product leadership role: product strategy, senior product management, or a founder track — ideally with agency, consultancy, or high-growth product company experience
• Experience with shipping products or features to users
• Comfort operating at both strategic and execution levels — writing a vision doc in the morning, reviewing a research script in the afternoon
• Expert command of product frameworks (lean startup, jobs-to-be-done, continuous discovery, outcome-based roadmapping) — and the judgment to know when not to use them
• A working, honest relationship with AI tools: you've used them in your practice, you know their limits, and you can help clients think clearly about where they create value
• Deep empathy – you listen to customers, colleagues, and clients to design with insight and intention.

Desirable Experience

• Experience leading product work on platform businesses or large consumer-facing digital products
• Familiarity with the Google ecosystem — Cloud, Workspace, Android, Pixel
• A background that cuts across research, design, and engineering — you know enough about each discipline to earn their trust
• Experience building or scaling a product practice inside an agency or consultancy
