The Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing cutting-edge products and services that help our customers. Focused on thinking big and scaling quickly around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base including issuers, acquirers, and merchants. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include payments-focused consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business Test & Learn experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services.
Test & Learn
As a member of the Business Experimentation & Optimization Product Management team you’ll work on Test & Learn, an industry-leading experimentation platform which brings sophisticated analytic techniques to businesses and users around the world. Test & Learn development today spans front-end, analytic, and technical investments; we are rapidly building new products, improving existing products, and expanding the ways we deliver Test & Learn to our clients.
Position Responsibilities
• Lead product evolution - drive the evolution of our analytic platform as we embark on a multi-year product transformation. Spearhead initiatives such as integrating emerging technologies, scaling our platform to support new business models, and re-architecting to drive efficiency. Balance tradeoffs between short-term wins and long-term technical investments.
• Drive commercial priorities - deeply understand our business and growth drivers. Influence GTM strategy and execution, and establish a supporting product roadmap. Be a product expert and first point of contact for market-facing teams, developing strong relationships with commercial partners.
• Understand customer needs - develop and execute product strategy grounded in a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and feasibility. Translate research and data into actionable product features; generate hypotheses, validate ideas, and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead PM discipline for our Pune office - Manage, coach, and support a team of Product Managers, functioning as both a leader and individual contributor. Develop cross-functional relationships, bridge local teams to global partners, and foster collaboration between product, engineering, and design.
All About You
• Prior Product Management experience – 15+ years of experience in product or similar roles. Experience establishing an outcome-oriented strategy and roadmap for a mature, diverse product ecosystem. Comfort effectively navigating complex and ambiguous problem spaces.
• Significant leadership experience – established team leader with prior experience leading a product management and cross-functional teams. Foster high performance and provide coaching and partnership to team members.
• Commercial orientation – experienced P&L owner, responsible for driving commercial growth by shaping cohesive go-to-market and product strategies.
• Interpersonal skills - Bias for action, empathetic listener, adept in building strong trust-based relationships, coachable, and effective communicator up/down/across the organization.
