What we’re looking for

We're looking for a Director of Product Management to join our team at an exciting moment of transformation. We're evolving our platform to meet users where they are with AI-native experiences, multiple interaction modalities, and smarter ways to help people get value faster.

This is a leadership role for a product thinker who is as comfortable setting vision as they are developing people. You'll own a meaningful piece of our core product, lead a team of strong PMs, and work cross-functionally to raise the bar on what we ship.

What you’ll be working on

• Own product strategy and roadmap for a set of core user-facing surfaces

• Lead and develop a team of senior PMs, setting a high bar for craft and rigor

• Drive the transition from traditional UI-first experiences toward AI-native, multi-modal product surfaces

• Partner closely with engineering, design, and data science to ship experiences users feel immediately

• Work across organizational boundaries to align platform capabilities with user-facing outcomes

• Define what great looks like and hold the team to it

We’d love to hear from people with

• 7+ years in product management, with 2+ years leading and developing PM teams

• Track record shipping beloved, high-quality products, you care about the details users feel

• Experience driving AI-powered product experiences, with strong intuition for what makes them work for non-technical users

• Strong people leader with experience building high-performing teams

• Ability to work between strategy and execution

• Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-moving environments

• Experience building products across multiple modalities such as chat, traditional UI, mobile

• Background in data-heavy or analytics products where making complexity feel simple is the job

• Familiarity with platform and infrastructure teams and how to partner with them effectively

The base pay provided for this position ranges from $200,600.00/year - $259,600.00/year depending on the geographic market and assuming a full-time schedule. Actual base pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education or training, skills, and experience.

Bonuses and commissions may also be offered as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; paid holidays; paid time off; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.

SurveyMonkey believes in-person collaboration is valuable for building relationships, fostering community, and enhancing our speed and execution. While this role is remote, it may require in-person participation. You will be encouraged to attend company events throughout the year. These events will take place at a designated SurveyMonkey office or location.
