Position Summary

The Director, Pre-Sales & Account Management, Markets Technology is a senior commercial leader responsible for driving revenue growth, improving client satisfaction, and rapidly growing LSEG’s footprint across the financial markets technology segment. This role provides strategic direction, leads a team of account managers and pre-sales professionals, and nurtures relationships with senior client partners.

The Director will foster a customer-centric approach—translating market insights into commercial strategies, orchestrating engagement, and ensuring outstanding execution across the full sales lifecycle. Success will be measured through net revenue growth, customer retention, operational excellence, and the development of a high-performing team.

What You'll Be Doing

· Lead, develop, and coach a team of account managers and pre-sales specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

· Own and lead all aspects of all RFI, RFP, and proposal submissions, ensuring high-quality, compelling responses that differentiate our value proposition.

· Demonstrate deep understanding of client strategies, decision-making frameworks, and business priorities, guiding your team in delivering consultative, outcome-based engagement.

· Maintain solid understanding of Markets Technology and broader LSEG capabilities to support advanced conversations and drive forward opportunities.

· Build and sustain executive-level relationships, positioning LSEG as a long-term strategic partner.

· Drive portfolio growth by expanding LSEG’s footprint, accelerating adoption, and ensuring revenue retention across key accounts.

· Provide strategic oversight for all commercial activities within the portfolio, ensuring flawless end-to-end relationship management.

· Streamline and optimize account administration processes to increase efficiency across the team.

· Oversee billing accuracy within the team and ensure timely resolution of client invoicing issues.

· Partner with senior internal stakeholders across Product, Technology, Finance, and Customer Operations to unlock value and resolve escalations.

What You'll Bring

· Proven senior-level track record in driving revenue growth, leading commercial teams, and achieving ambitious financial targets.

· Deep understanding of customer business models, workflows, and strategic priorities within the financial services and exchange technology sectors.

· Extensive knowledge of Markets Technology solutions and the broader LSEG product ecosystem.

· Demonstrated leadership in developing high-performing sales or account management teams.

· Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to shape, articulate, and deliver complex value propositions.

· Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation capabilities, with credibility to engage and influence at the C-suite level.

· Sophisticated problem-solving skills—able to structure client challenges and translate them into actionable solutions.

· Experience managing senior-level client escalations and navigating complex commercial scenarios.

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

· Achieve annual revenue growth targets across the Markets Technology portfolio.

· Maintain or exceed renewal and revenue retention benchmarks.

· Deliver defined percentage growth in cross-sell and upsell opportunities.

· Produce accurate quarterly forecasts within acceptable variance thresholds.

Client Relationship & Engagement

· Increase senior/executive-level client engagement.

· Achieve target improvements in customer satisfaction metrics.

· Resolve client escalations within defined SLA timeframes.

· Ensure team members meet or exceed individual performance objectives.

· Improve RFI/RFP win rates and ensure timely submission.

· Provide actionable market insights to senior leadership.
