POSITION: We are seeking a highly experienced Associate Director / Director – Data Science to lead advanced analytics initiatives leveraging real-world data (RWD) such as claims, EMR/EHR, and other healthcare datasets. This role will focus on generating actionable insights across patient populations, provider behavior, disease progression, and treatment outcomes, enabling evidence-based decision-making across medical affairs, market access, and commercial strategy. This leader will drive end-to-end RWE strategy, advanced analytics solutioning, and client engagement, while building scalable capabilities across patient analytics, outcomes research, and predictive modeling.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. RWE Strategy & Leadership
• Lead development and execution of RWE and patient analytics strategies aligned with client and organizational objectives
• Act as a thought leader in Real-World Data (RWD) applications across medical affairs, HEOR, and commercial use cases
• Drive innovation in evidence generation frameworks, including observational studies and advanced analytics
2. Advanced Analytics & Use Case Delivery: Lead and oversee analytics across key RWE domains:
• Patient & Cohort Analytics
• Patient Journey & Treatment Dynamics
• Patient Finding & Predictive Modeling
• Provider Analytics & Targeting
• Market & Epidemiology Analytics
• SDOH & Health Equity
• HCRU & Cost Analytics
3. Client Engagement & Consulting
• Lead multi-client engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction
• Translate complex analytics into clear, actionable business insights for senior stakeholders
• Partner with Medical Affairs, HEOR, Market Access, and Commercial teams
4. Capability Building & Practice Development
• Build and scale RWE analytics capabilities and reusable assets
• Mentor and develop teams across data science, epidemiology, and analytics
• Drive proposal development and business growth initiatives
5. Data & Technology Leadership
• Work with large-scale healthcare datasets:• Claims (open/closed)
• EMR/EHR
• Lab and genomics (where applicable)
• Integrate multiple data sources for holistic patient-level insights
• Apply advanced techniques:• Machine Learning (classification, clustering, survival models)
• Causal inference methods
• Time-to-event and longitudinal analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, etc.)
• Advanced degree (MBA / PhD / MPH / MD) strongly preferred
• 10+ years of experience in life sciences consulting, healthcare analytics, or RWE
• Core Skills & Expertise

• Patient Segmentation & Journey Analytics
• Market Sizing & Epidemiology
• Provider Targeting & Network Analysis
• HCRU & Cost Analysis

• Expertise in:• SQL, Python
• Claims & EMR data handling
• Advanced statistical and ML techniques
• Leadership & Consulting Skills
• Proven ability to lead large, complex engagements
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience
• Experience working with global pharma/biotech clients
• Preferred Experience
• Experience with RWE, HEOR, or Medical Affairs analytics
• Familiarity with regulatory and evidence-generation framework
