Au sein du département Operating, l’OCC pilote la planification des ressources (matériel roulant, personnel roulant, sillons),
la supervision opérationnelle, la conduite, l’accompagnement des trains ainsi que l’expérience client à bord et dans les lounges.
Le Director OCC dirige cette équipe pluridisciplinaire et joue un rôle essentiel dans l’excellence opérationnelle de notre réseau international.

Missions principales :
• Conduire la transformation managériale et opérationnelle de l’OCC, moderniser les pratiques et renforcer la performance temps réel.
• Assurer le management hiérarchique d’une trentaine de collaborateurs (duty shift leaders, managers) et la responsabilité fonctionnelle
de plusieurs pôles (fleet control, crew dispatching, customer services).
• Piloter la qualité de service et maximiser la satisfaction client.
• Prendre des décisions critiques en équilibrant sécurité, continuité de service, performance humaine et gestion de crise.
• Représenter l’OCC auprès des partenaires internes et externes, en veillant au respect des réglementations (notamment Allemagne et Royaume-Uni).
• Gérer les projets, contrats et budgets liés à l’OCC.

Le poste est basé à Bruxelles, avec des déplacements occasionnels sur le réseau Eurostar.

Join Eurostar as Director Operations Control Centre (OCC) and lead the centre that oversees every movement across our network. This is a strategic role at the intersection of leadership, real-time decision-making and international operational performance.

Within the Operating division, the OCC oversees resource planning (fleet, crew, paths), real-time operational supervision,
train driving coordination and the customer experience on board and in lounges. The OCC Director leads this multidisciplinary
organisation and drives operational excellence across our international network.

Key responsibilities:
• Lead the managerial and operational transformation of the OCC, modernising practices and strengthening real-time performance.
• Provide hierarchical leadership to around thirty colleagues (duty shift leaders, managers) and functional leadership across fleet control,
crew dispatching and customer services.
• Drive service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Make critical operational decisions balancing safety, continuity of service, human performance and crisis response.
• Represent the OCC with internal and external partners, ensuring regulatory compliance across our network (including Germany and the UK).
• Oversee OCC-related projects, contracts and budgets.

The role is based in Brussels, with occasional travel across the Eurostar network.

Word Director Operations Control Centre (OCC) bij Eurostar en neem de leiding over het centrum dat elke beweging op ons netwerk aanstuurt. Een strategische rol op het kruispunt van leiderschap, realtime besluitvorming en internationale operationele prestaties.

Binnen de Operating-afdeling is het OCC verantwoordelijk voor resourceplanning (rollend materieel, personeel, treinpaden),
realtime operationele aansturing, treinbesturing en de klantervaring aan boord en in lounges. De Director OCC leidt deze
multidisciplinaire organisatie en stimuleert operationele excellentie binnen ons internationale netwerk.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden:
• Leidinggeven aan de operationele en managementtransformatie van het OCC en het moderniseren van werkwijzen.
• Hiërarchisch leidinggeven aan ongeveer dertig medewerkers (duty shift leaders, managers) en functioneel leidinggeven
aan fleet control, crew dispatching en customer services.
• De dienstverlening en klanttevredenheid verbeteren en sturen.
• Kritieke operationele beslissingen nemen met aandacht voor veiligheid, continuïteit, menselijke prestaties en crisissituaties.
• Het OCC vertegenwoordigen bij interne en externe partners en zorgen voor naleving van regelgeving (o.a. in Duitsland en het VK).
• Projecten, contracten en budgetten van het OCC beheren.

De functie is gebaseerd in Brussel, met occasionele reizen binnen het Eurostar-netwerk.

Requirements:
• Expérience confirmée dans le management d’équipes en environnement complexe, temps réel ou régulé.

• Minimum 15 ans d'expérience professionnelle dans le secteur du transport, de l'industrie ou de la production avec un haut niveau de sécurité.
• Leadership stratégique et opérationnel fort, capable de mobiliser, décider et transformer.
• Capacité à gérer la complexité, des environnements multiculturels et des situations à forts enjeux.
• Résilience, sang-froid, courage managérial, sens du service.

Compétences requises :
• Diplôme de niveau Master.
• Maîtrise professionnelle du français et de l’anglais ; néerlandais et allemand appréciés.
• Maîtrise du pack Microsoft Office.
• Connaissance du ferroviaire appréciée mais non indispensable.
• Disponibilité pour la gestion de situations critiques et horaires opérationnels atypiques.

Required qualifications:
• Master’s level degree.
• Professional fluency in English and French; Dutch or German is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Railway knowledge is a plus but not essential.
• Ability to support crisis situations and operational peaks when required.

Vereiste kwalificaties:
• Masterdiploma.
• Professionele beheersing van Engels en Frans; kennis van Nederlands of Duits is een plus.
• Goede kennis van Microsoft Office.
• Spoorkennis is een troef maar geen vereiste.
• Bereidheid om crisissituaties en operationele piekmomenten te ondersteunen.
