We have more than 500 team members across multiple offices, primarily in Calabasas CA, San Diego, CA, Woodridge, IL, Minneapolis, MN and Pleasanton, CA. We also have team members in two company-owned offices in China, as well as in Europe.

Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic and operationally focused Director of Supply Chain to lead our global vendor network, optimize production capacity, and drive supply chain excellence across our make-on-demand business. This role requires a strong leader who can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring our supply chain supports rapid growth while maintaining cost efficiency and service quality.

The Director of Supply Chain will own end-to-end supply chain strategy, from vendor sourcing and capacity planning to performance management and continuous improvement. This individual must be comfortable managing complex global relationships, driving data-backed decisions, and collaborating across departments to ensure supply chain operations align with business objectives.

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be local to or willing to relocate to the Calabasas area as we operate on a hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 remote)

What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies that support company growth targets and seasonal demand fluctuations across 20+ brands.
• Lead global vendor sourcing, evaluation, and onboarding processes to expand production capacity and geographic coverage while maintaining quality standards.
• Own pre-season capacity planning and allocation, ensuring production capability aligns with brand forecasts and peak demand requirements.
• Manage vendor contract negotiations, cost reviews, and performance agreements to optimize total cost of ownership and service levels.
• Design and implement supply chain KPIs and reporting systems to track vendor performance, capacity utilization, transit times, and cost efficiency.
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key vendors to review performance, address issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee inventory planning and allocation strategies to minimize carrying costs while ensuring product availability.
• Collaborate with Product Development teams to evaluate manufacturability, cost implications, and supply chain requirements for new product launches.
• Manage supply chain risk assessment and mitigation strategies, including backup sourcing and contingency planning.
• Lead and mentor supply chain teams responsible for vendor management, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• Drive supply chain technology initiatives and system implementations to improve visibility, automation, and scalability.

Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive supply chain experience, preferably in manufacturing, e-commerce, or consumer products industries.
• Proven track record managing global vendor networks and complex supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in demand planning, capacity modeling, and supply chain optimization.
• Deep understanding of international trade, logistics, customs regulations, and global sourcing practices.
• Experience with supply chain management systems, ERP platforms, and advanced analytics tools.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with ability to drive performance improvements.
• Excellent project management capabilities with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-growth environments with competing priorities.

• Position requires regular, continuous use of computer.
• Position requires regular sitting and standing.
• Position requires regular interaction with team members through the following methods: in person, phone, Zoom, Slack, or email.
• This role requires 20% travel in support of vendor management and operational execution.
• This is a hybrid position; employees are expected to be in the office three days per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) with the option of working remotely two days (Wednesday and Friday).


Benefits:
The compensation range for this position is $125,000 - $180,000 annual salary + bonus.
