We are actively seeking a results-driven Director of Sales and Marketing to lead multi-community sales and marketing efforts for a premier nonprofit senior living organization in Oak Park, MI. This senior leadership position will oversee strategic planning, marketing initiatives, and occupancy growth across our communities. The ideal candidate has strong experience in senior living sales, CRM management, and team leadership, with a proven ability to drive revenue and enhance resident engagement. Based in Oak Park, this role offers the opportunity to influence system-wide marketing programs while directly contributing to resident satisfaction and organizational success.
Salary Range: $120,000 – $135,000 annually, plus performance incentives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Occupancy Management
• Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize occupancy across all Oak Park senior living communities.
• Establish and monitor sales goals, revenue targets, and quota structures.
• Analyze performance metrics, conversion rates, and census trends to guide decision-making.
• Identify new resident markets and opportunities for growth.
• Oversee move-in processes to ensure a smooth and welcoming transition for residents.
Marketing & Brand Leadership
• Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns through digital, print, and community channels.
• Create advertising initiatives aligned with organizational objectives and local market trends.
• Manage promotional materials, events, and trade show participation.
• Conduct market research to inform strategic planning and competitive positioning in Oak Park and surrounding areas.
Leadership & Team Development
• Hire, train, and supervise sales and marketing teams.
• Provide coaching and professional development to ensure high performance.
• Ensure system-wide compliance with fair housing and regulatory standards.
• Oversee daily operations of the sales and marketing department.
Financial & Operational Oversight
• Develop and manage budgets for sales and marketing initiatives.
• Monitor ROI, revenue projections, and other performance indicators.
• Generate reports using CRM and other data analytics tools.
• Recommend operational improvements to enhance sales and marketing effectiveness.
Community Engagement & Public Relations
• Represent the organization in the Oak Park community and maintain external partnerships.
• Build and maintain relationships with referral sources and local organizations.
• Promote senior living services throughout Oak Park and the surrounding Michigan market.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of management-level experience in sales or marketing; senior living or healthcare marketing strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience leading teams.
• Proven ability to establish sales quotas and achieve revenue goals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms (e.g., Sherpa CRM, WelcomeHome, Enquire Solutions, Advantage Anywhere).
• Strong analytical, forecasting, and reporting skills.
