Your role as the Director of Retail Partnerships – Drug Beauty Channel - North America will require you to work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer to direct, implement, and deliver commercial activity with our retail partners, enabling further mutual partnership growth. Your key responsibilities include budget achievement, profitability metric achievement, and customer revenue development. To support the commercial efforts, additional close partnership will be required with our Marketing and Education teams to ensure a bespoke plan and customer approach is built.
Responsibilities
Establishing annual sales objectives & goals, in conjunction with the C.R.O.
Determining sales objectives established by each client.
Setting new listing objectives (SS/FW) and planning accordingly to ensure listings / drive incremental sales.
Providing monthly and quarterly progress reports and taking appropriate corrective actions if and when needed.
Conducting key planning and review meetings with clients to ensure that planned sales and activity is executed and achieving predetermined goals.
Partnering with the C.R.O & C.M.O. to plan customer specific promotional, merchandising & communication activity to drive sales and awareness.
Conducting bi-monthly meetings with 3rd party brokers to ensure that plans and goals are lucid and executed in line with predetermined expectations.
Providing forecasted data to planning / production to ensure that stocks are available OTIF and appropriate forward needs are visible.
In conjunction with the C.R.O. – establishing annual profit objective. Ensuring that profit established by client and monitored and reported in conjunction with C.R.O. & Finance team.
Providing monthly and quarterly progress reports and taking appropriate corrective actions if and when needed.
Ensuring that, in partnership with Finance, any promotional activity profit is in line with agreed tolerances set by the C.R.O.
Ensuring that customer contractual agreements, commitments, and tolerances are adhered to per specific contract details.
Ensuring clear, cohesive communication across reports resulting in an alignment and understanding of business plans and priorities.
Delegating tasks and directing reports ensuring that objectives are achieved.
Developing a culture of contribution from all reports resulting in constant business and personal evolution.
Coaching and sharing skills with team to ensure overall team skill set evolves.
Requirements
Personal hands-on experience managing North American retailers within the Drug Beauty channel including CVS, WALGREENS, and RITE-AID.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
