As the Director of MENA Public Policy you will develop and implement an engagement strategy with key policymakers, stakeholders, and opinion leaders across MENA. The successful candidate will oversee critical issues including, but not limited to, gaming, child safety, artificial intelligence, privacy, and consumer protection.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, driven to develop and execute creative strategies that advance Roblox’s business and priorities within the region. This position is based in Dubai and reports directly to the Head of Public Policy, Europe and MENA. The Director of MENA Public Policy will play a critical part in shaping Roblox's future in the country by establishing and executing effective public policy strategies. This role is instrumental in ensuring compliance, addressing policy issues, and fostering strong relationships with external partners, ultimately contributing to a safer and more engaging environment for Roblox's global community of developers and creators.

You Will

• Maintain and build relationships with regional policymakers and political figures

• Identify, monitor, and analyze policy issues affecting Roblox in MENA

• Develop and execute policy strategies around issues important to Roblox

• Assist the wider public policy team on ongoing projects and initiatives

• Advise Roblox internal stakeholders on policy matters as inputs to the development of our products and business operations

• Articulate Roblox’s public policy positions and produce briefing papers and consultation responses

• Empowered to fully pursue both your personal life and career goals, with support to take on increasing responsibilities and calculated risks for growth

You Have

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, International Relations, Media, Technology, or related field of study or equivalent

• 10+ years of experience working with policymakers and stakeholders in MENA

• Deep knowledge of the MENA policymaking and public opinion process

• Extensive experience in intelligence collection and analysis, strategy development, project management, cross-functional partnership

• Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
