We are seeking a visionary and decisive Director of People & Culture to join our opening leadership team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our organization's human resources strategies and foster a positive, high-performance culture in a dynamic island setting.
• Develop and implement strategic People & Culture initiatives aligned with organizational goals
• Lead and mentor a team of People & Culture professionals, ensuring excellence in all People & Culture functions
• Drive talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies to support business growth
• Oversee performance management processes and initiatives to optimize employee productivity
• Spearhead organizational development programs to enhance company culture and employee engagement
• Collaborate with senior leadership to address complex employee relations issues and mitigate risks
• Analyze People & Culture metrics and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making
• Ensure compliance with Vietnamese labor laws and regulations
• Manage the People & Culture budget and resource allocation effectively
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• Proven expertise in strategic People & Culture planning, talent management, and organizational development
• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese labor laws and regulations
• Experience with HR analytics and data-driven decision-making
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and drive change initiatives
• Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Experience in cross-cultural management and international People & Culture practices
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Vietnamese is a must
