About the Role
As our Director of Nursing / Angio Suite Manager, you will be the clinical leader overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Angio Suite. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will guide both clinical and administrative staff while ensuring exceptional patient care, safety, and compliance.
You’ll play a critical role in shaping operations, developing your team, and driving a high-quality patient experience from pre-op through post-op.
What You’ll Do
Lead Clinical Operations
Oversee daily Angio Suite operations across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care
Partner closely with physicians to ensure smooth workflow and patient flow
Maintain the highest standards of patient safety and care
Drive Compliance & Excellence
Ensure compliance with AAAHC, CMS, and California regulations
Prepare for surveys and maintain accreditation readiness
Maintain policies and procedures aligned with best practices
Develop & Inspire Your Team
Lead, coach, and mentor clinical and clerical staff
Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
Build a positive, accountable, and collaborative culture
Oversee Inventory & Operations
Manage purchasing, supplies, and equipment (including controlled substances)
Ensure operational readiness and efficiency
Improve Outcomes
Monitor quality metrics and lead process improvements
Identify ways to enhance patient satisfaction and operational flow
What You Bring
Active California RN license (in good standing)
BSN required
BLS & ACLS certifications
2+ years of ambulatory surgery experience
1+ year of leadership or management experience
Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (AAAHC, CMS, Life Safety Code)
A leadership style that is hands-on, supportive, and solutions-oriented
Preferred Experience
Vascular, interventional radiology, or angio/cath lab experience
EMR and scheduling systems
Infection control or sterile processing knowledge
