Description:

The Director of Marketing is responsible for planning and executing a wide range of marketing initiatives, overseeing all lead generation and branding for associated colleges within Unitek Learning. This leader will be responsible for driving projects and initiatives across multiple internal departments to help drive student growth and retention and improve brand reputation. They will also oversee an internal team and leverage internal resources and external agencies and vendors to execute projects.

This position is a hybrid role based in Tempe, AZ. You will be required to work Tuesday- Thursday at our Tempe campus and two day from your home office.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with senior leadership and foster cross-functional collaboration to seamlessly align and execute marketing strategies with overarching business goals and objectives.
• Responsible for creation and management of all lead generation goals and budgets to achieve new student start goals by campus and program.
• Manage budgets, lead goals and creative assets with paid media agencies to help achieve marketing goals for respective programs and campuses.
• Act as primary liaison to campuses for all marketing related projects including but not limited to community events, posters, campus branding, flyers, and other collateral needed by departments and oversee internal team and agencies to execute and ensure things are on brand and completed in timely manner.
• Collaborate with organic social team to continue to build content pipeline with campuses and grow follower growth across social platforms.
• Manage external website and development agency for all design and content requests to keep the website information up to date and the site optimized for UX/UI and lead generation purposes.
• Work collaboratively with a variety of internal stakeholders across admissions, academics, compliance, financial aid, and other departments to communicate and deploy updates to programs, policies, and procedures and support respective collateral needs.
• Responsible for coordination of photo and video shoots with campus staff and external agency partners and coordinate all postproduction updates.
• Develop the strategy and workflows for student lifecycle communication and execution through email and SMS.
• Communicate routinely with management, and senior leadership on forecasts, budgets and performance.
• Conduct demographic and target market studies, evaluate competitors and identify trends to maximize effectiveness of marketing efforts. Assist in various special projects such as cost feasibility studies for current and proposed locations and programs.
• Analyze day-to-day reporting, complete with month-end reporting, and maintain budgets and appropriate accounting coding.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Pay Range

The annual pay range for this position is $100k (minimum), $110k (midpoint), and $120k (maximum).*

*Typical hiring range is between the minimum and midpoint of the above pay range. Actual starting base pay may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, location and budget.

Education, Experience and Skills:

• 8 years marketing experience with a college degree.
• BS degree in marketing (Preferred)
• Experience managing and optimizing growth marketing budgets with a strong analytical approach to customer acquisition and retention.
• Ability to lead groups and be decisive.
• Highly organized and analytical ability to motivate and manage people, projects and set deadlines.
• Deep understanding of performance marketing (paid social, SEO/SEM, affiliate, OTT and other digital channels).
• Demonstrates innovation and creativity to create brand new strategies that attract customers and succeed over the competition
• Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft suite of products

Position Status:

Full-time Hybrid position with responsibilities of approximately 40 hours per week. This position will be classified as “At-will.” our current hybrid schedule is Tues-Thurs in office and Mon and Fri remotely.
