JOB DESCRIPTION
The Director of Human Resources & Organizational Growth is a dual-purpose leadership
role designed to manage the full lifecycle of the employee experience while strategically
expanding the agency’s service capabilities. This position ensures that Heart to Heart
Health and Wellness has the clinical talent, regulatory framework, and strategic roadmap
to implement new service lines. By aligning HR infrastructure with growth objectives, this role paves the way for current and future employees to provide expanded services effectively.
JOB DUTIES
Identify and implement requirements for new service lines.
Source, hire, and onboard qualified clinical and operational staff
Oversee all internal HR systems, ensuring personal information and credentials for all
staff are accurate and up to date.
Collaborate with the Clinical Director to ensure that HR policies support the high-
productivity standards required for community-based services.
Create and maintain employee handbooks and clinical protocols that reflect the
agency's evolving mission and diverse service offerings.
Develop training programs and performance reviews that prepare the workforce for
new service delivery models and ensure high retention.
Ensure all HR and growth initiatives comply with agency, funder, and state standards.
Provide guidance to leadership on staff-related crisis management and internal
stabilization as needed.
Execute additional tasks to support the executive team in operational scaling.
QUALIFICATIONS
(Preferred) Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or
Healthcare Management
Proven track record in organizational development or HR leadership within a behavioral health setting
Deep understanding of the Ohio mental health landscape
Excellent oral and written communication skills for both internal staff management and external community collaboration
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/Internal systems
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work a flexible schedule to meet organizational growth needs
