Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Development of the Engine Department:

Lead the creation and implementation of a structured acquisition and teardown module to optimize processes and drive operational efficiency.

Develop and execute comprehensive procedures for engine acquisition, teardown, maintenance, and sales.

Team Leadership and Process Optimization:

Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team focused on engine acquisition, leasing, and sales.

Establish robust workflows and best practices to ensure the department meets and exceeds industry standards.

Supplier and Industry Partnership Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with engine suppliers, lessors, and airlines to secure strategic partnerships and favorable terms.

Represent Pioneer Aero Supply as the primary liaison for external partners and stakeholders.

Quality Oversight:

Ensure all engines meet or exceed stringent safety, regulatory, and performance standards.

Oversee thorough inspections, maintenance, and overhaul activities in collaboration with Repair and Quality Assurance teams.

Establish and maintain robust quality control protocols to uphold the highest industry standards.

Review and validate technical documentation, including engine inspection and maintenance records, for accuracy and compliance.

Business Growth and Market Leadership:

Identify new business opportunities in engine sales and leasing to drive revenue growth.

Stay ahead of industry trends, market dynamics, and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with procurement, logistics, and finance teams to create a cohesive and efficient engine division.

Partner with senior leadership to align the engine department’s initiatives with the company’s long-term objectives.

Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years proven track record in engine acquisition, leasing, and sales within the aviation industry.

Industry Network: Established relationships with key stakeholders in the aviation and engine supply sectors.

Leadership: Demonstrated success in building, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams.

Technical Expertise:

Deep understanding of engine inspection, maintenance, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Proficiency in analyzing and validating technical documentation, including engine cycle readings and maintenance records.

Familiarity with Parts Procurement Worksheets (PPW) and their operational implications.

Quality Focus:

Commitment to upholding and enhancing quality assurance standards.

Strong risk assessment and mitigation skills to ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations.

Strategic and Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to develop strategies, mitigate risks, and make data-driven decisions.

Communication: Outstanding negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
