• Base Salary: Up to $130,000 annually
• Annual Incentive Bonus: 17.5%–26.25% of base salary
• Relocation Assistance: $15,000

Overview
The Director of Emergency Services provides strategic, operational, and clinical leadership across multiple freestanding emergency departments (FSEDs). This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered emergency care while driving operational excellence, staff engagement, regulatory compliance, and service growth. The Director partners with clinical and operational leaders to advance performance, patient experience, and emergency services outcomes.
Responsibilities
• Lead daily operations and strategic direction for freestanding emergency departments
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality emergency care aligned with professional and regulatory standards
• Oversee staffing, productivity, budgeting, and resource utilization
• Drive patient experience initiatives and service excellence strategies
• Develop, mentor, and evaluate nursing and clinical leadership teams
• Identify operational risks and implement sustainable solutions with clear follow-through
• Monitor compliance with regulatory, accreditation, safety, and quality standards
• Lead performance improvement initiatives focused on clinical outcomes, throughput, and patient satisfaction
• Collaborate with ancillary service leaders to ensure seamless patient care delivery
• Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Participate in leadership rounding and succession planning efforts
• Represent emergency services in organizational and interdisciplinary forums
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 3 years of emergency services experience
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred:
• Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
• 3 or more years of progressive leadership experience in emergency services
• Experience overseeing freestanding emergency departments or multi-site operations
