HockeyStack is an Applied AI company on a mission to automate sales, marketing, and customer success for B2B companies. We build the most complete and accurate picture of the B2B buyer by integrating with every tool your team uses, partnering with third-party data providers, and deploying custom AI research agents. We use this data to power applications that automate high-value, high-complexity workflows across the go-to-market and revenue teams. Our core products include:

• Analytics – instantly answers questions like "What led to that sudden drop in pipeline?"

• Agents – creates a blueprint of each customer's ideal sales process and executes it across every deal, every rep, every day

We’re growing 3× year-over-year, have hit multimillion ARR, and process over 60 TB of GTM data monthly. 🚀 Your Mission

We're looking for a Director of Delivery to lead the delivery team responsible for implementation, onboarding, and ongoing value realization. You'll own the full delivery lifecycle — ensuring customers are onboarded, adopted, and continuously extracting value from HockeyStack at a pace that matches our growth. This is a high-velocity leadership role: you'll build and manage the team that keeps delivery running at startup speed.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage the delivery team, owning outcomes across product delivery, implementation, and customer value realization.

• Build, develop, and retain a high-performing delivery team in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Identify and resolve delivery bottlenecks quickly — you operate with urgency and hold the team to a high bar.

• Ensure delivery milestones are met and customers realize measurable business impact through the team you build.

• Own the delivery process end-to-end: build scalable workflows, set quality standards, and ensure the team delivers at pace.

• Partner with Product and Engineering to translate customer needs into product improvements and ensure delivery aligns with the product roadmap.

• Navigate complex organizations and competing priorities to keep delivery on track.

🧩 What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience managing delivery or implementation at a fast-moving startup or high-growth technology company.

• Proven experience building and leading teams that deliver at scale and speed.

• Strong leadership presence — you can manage challenging delivery situations with composure and hold your team to a high bar.

• Operational rigor — you build processes, set standards, and drive accountability across a team.

• Experience with value delivery and the ability to partner with Product and Engineering teams effectively.

• Management consulting or strategic advisory experience is a plus.

• High-ownership mentality. You operate with autonomy and hold yourself accountable for results.

• Excited about in-person work, 5 days per week in San Francisco.

We're building a high-performing, in-person culture at our San Francisco HQ, where the team collaborates shoulder-to-shoulder five days a week. The base salary range for this role is $180,000 to $220,000 USD, adjusted for experience and qualifications.
