Position Overview
We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Director of Corporate Finance to lead our strategic financial initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with deep expertise in capital markets, mergers & acquisitions, and equity investments, particularly within the fast-paced Fintech/Internet sector. This role will be instrumental in driving our growth strategy, including potential IPO preparations, M&A activities, and strategic equity investments.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Finance & Capital Markets Leadership
Develop and execute corporate finance strategies aligned with company objectives
Lead all aspects of capital raising, including equity, debt, and structured financing
Manage investor relations and communications with financial stakeholders
Oversee financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment thesis development
M&A and Equity Investment Management
Identify, evaluate, and execute M&A opportunities and strategic partnerships
Lead due diligence processes for potential acquisitions and investments
Structure and negotiate transaction terms and agreements
Manage post-merger integration from a financial perspective
IPO & Public Market Expertise
Leverage US IPO experience to guide company through potential public listing preparations
Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and reporting requirements
Develop and maintain relationships with investment banks, legal advisors, and auditors
Prepare company for public market scrutiny and investor expectations
Financial Analysis & Decision Support
Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership and board members
Conduct industry and competitor analysis within Fintech/Internet sectors
Evaluate financial implications of strategic initiatives and business decisions
Develop sophisticated financial models to support long-term planning
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
10+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or related fields
Proven track record in M&A and equity investments
Direct experience with US IPO processes (as investment banker executing IPOs; As CFO or senior finance leader of a US-listed company)
Near-native English proficiency with exceptional written and verbal communication
Excellent presentation skills for board meetings, investor presentations, and external events
