The Role
The Director of Business Development, Credentials is a crucial role responsible for the successful execution and day-to-day operations of our Wallet and Physical Credential business and delivering on the quarterly and annual revenue goals. This role manages all Wallet and Strategic Credential Technology partners, including the entire ecosystem of PACs, PIAMs, OEMs, and Integrators that deploy digital and physical credential solutions to their customers. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual with excellent project management and interpersonal skills, driven by a passion for partner engagement and program success.
Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver on Wallet Partner & Physical Credential Revenue Growth:
Identify opportunities to grow recurring Wallet & Physical Credential (specifically with a focus on LEAF Verified) revenue from new and existing Wallet partners and implement co-sales and co-marketing programs
Report on partner revenue trends and provide regular updated Wallet revenue forecasts
Proactively identify net new Wallet & LEAF end user projects and introduce partners to deliver solutions
Educate integrator community on Wallet/Reader bundled offers and track bundle performance.
Partner Management:
Serve as a primary point of contact for our Wallet & LEAF Credential partners, establishing regular cadence, addressing inquiries, and providing support.
Manage participant enrollment, registration, and communication processes.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all program participants.
Track participant attendance, engagement, and progress.
Identify new strategic partnerships with an emphasis on IT credential ecosystem providers/FIDO2.
Logistics and Operations:
Manage any applicable program budgets and track expenses related to program execution.
Coordinate and collaborate with internal departments (e.g., marketing, communications, product) to ensure smooth program operations.
Maintain accurate program records, databases, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with all relevant organizational policies and procedures.
Team Coordination:
Coordinate and support program staff, volunteers, or facilitators involved in program delivery.
Provide clear direction, training, and ongoing support to team members.
Foster effective communication and collaboration within the program team.
Collaborate with other Program Managers and provide coverage for team members during leave.
Quality Assurance and Evaluation Support:
Collect data and feedback related to program implementation.
Assist in the evaluation of program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Contribute to the development of program reports and presentations.
Partner Engagement:
Build and maintain positive relationships with Wallet/Credential partners and stakeholders involved in program delivery.
Represent Wavelynx in relevant community meetings and events as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field.
5 + years in account or partner management.
Proven experience successfully executing partner-based programs, ideally in the physical access control industry.
Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Google Suite and HubSpot CRM.
Salary & Benefits
$140,000 Base Salary + $60,000 Sales Incentive ($200,000 OTE)
