Who We’re Looking For

Megazone US is looking for a Director of Accounting & Finance to own the financial engine of our US operations. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who wants to move beyond traditional accounting and take full P&L ownership. You aren't just looking for a seat at the table; you are looking to build the table itself.

You will own the US books end-to-end, manage our P&L, and serve as the vital strategic link between our US business units and our South Korean headquarters. Partnering closely with the CEO, Operations, and HR, you will ensure that our rapid growth is backed by fiscal discipline and strategic forecasting.

What You’ll Do

• Own the P&L: Take full accountability for the US Profit & Loss statement. You will analyze margins, manage departmental budgets, and provide the CEO with the financial visibility needed to drive profitability.

• Global HQ Strategic Liaison: Serve as the primary financial voice to our South Korean headquarters. You will translate US performance into global reporting standards, manage consolidation, and lead all financial communications with HQ leadership.

• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Move beyond the "close." You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure our operational spend aligns with our strategic goals.

• Drive Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including the oversight and execution of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure healthy cash flow and vendor relationships.

• Build & Protect the Books: Own the month-end close, tax compliance, and treasury. You will implement the internal controls and ERP workflows necessary to take the US entity through audits.

• Operational & HR Partnership: Work as a "co-pilot" to Operations and HR. You will oversee the financial side of payroll, benefits, and office expansion, ensuring every dollar spent supports our scale.

• Systems & Automation: Optimize our tech stack to automate reporting and create real-time financial dashboards for the executive team.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Accounting and Finance, with a track record of P&L management.

• CPA required. You must have a deep mastery of US GAAP and a strong grasp of financial modeling.

• Transactional Mastery: Proven experience managing the full accounting lifecycle, including AP, AR, and general ledger management in a fast-paced environment.

• Communication: The ability to tell the "story" behind the numbers to stakeholders across different time zones and business functions.

• Experience with a public company.

• International Experience: Proven experience reporting into a global parent company. Familiarity with Korean business culture or IFRS is a major advantage.

• Experience in a Professional Services or consulting environment.
