THE ROLE: Director, Marketing Production & Creative Operations:

The Director of Marketing Production & Creative Operations is the strategic leader responsible for all customer-facing creative production across integrated, digital, omnichannel, retail, experiential, and packaging channels. This role serves as the operational backbone of the marketing organization, translating brand strategy into flawless execution while building scalable systems that support business growth. Reporting to the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing, this hands-on leader will orchestrate photo shoots, marketing campaigns, new content programs (ambassador, video, AI integration), and all channel assets—driving cross-functional alignment across Brand, Marketing, Sales, Creative, and Operations. This role requires a seasoned CPG production leader who can navigate complexity, unite teams, drive strategic process optimization, and lead through the high-stakes execution of our brand refresh in 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Own end-to-end production strategy for all customer-facing brand initiatives across brand, integrated, digital, omnichannel, retail, experiential, and packaging channels

Lead us through an elevated brand refresh this year—ensuring on-time, on-brand delivery with proactive risk management and cross-functional alignment

Partner with Operations Project Director to streamline project management systems (Smartsheets, Asana) and eliminate disconnects between ops and creative teams 

Refresh and optimize the go-to-market process to address organizational changes and scale new content programs (ambassador, video, agency partners, AI integration)

Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and change management across all production initiatives; employ strategic risk management and flag bottlenecks proactively

Orchestrate photoshoots, marketing campaigns, and all channel asset production with strategic oversight and vendor management

Build, mentor, and lead production team; drive strategic results via team performance and unite ops/creative teams around shared vision

Articulate complex production strategies to executive leadership; represent function in strategic planning forums

THE CANDIDATE:

Candidate must be passionate, organized, and love developing personal care, grooming, or skin care products. This person has deep CPG production expertise with the strategic acumen to architect systems, drive cross-functional solutions, and lead through complexity. While this candidate excels at building scalable processes and managing strategic workload planning, they have a remarkable ability to remain graceful under pressure and instill confidence in teams during high-stakes moments. The ideal candidate is an inspirational leader—someone who unites teams, champions simplicity in the face of complexity, and leverages goal-setting to drive strategic outcomes. They are a credible partner to Director-level peers, with the executive presence to influence senior stakeholders and the emotional intelligence to navigate organizational change. A true ambassador for the brand, both internally and externally, who takes a "sleeves-rolled-up" approach when needed while maintaining strategic oversight.

CAPABILITIES & SKILLS REQUIRED:

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

10-15+ years of experience in CPG marketing production, creative operations, or integrated project management within Personal Care, Beauty, or related categories

5+ years leading teams and driving cross-functional strategic initiatives

Deep expertise in omnichannel production (photoshoots, digital, retail, experiential, packaging) and end-to-end CPG campaign workflows

Strategic thinker who connects production decisions to brand positioning, Dept-level OKRs, and business outcomes

High emotional intelligence (EQ)—leverages understanding of emotions to produce positive results; graceful under pressure and instills confidence in teams

Executive presence with ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to senior leadership and influence cross-functional partners

Advanced Smartsheet (or similar) experience required; strong point of view on project management software/programs 

Proven ability to architect scalable systems, solve cross-functional problems, and work through ambiguity with flexibility

Known for credibility, cooperation, and empathy; unites teams and drives strategic results via team performance

HOURS: Full Time, Exempt, Salaried

MANAGER: Senior Director, Integrated Marketing
