The Director – IT Solutions Delivery will lead and drive the Life & Health front-end technology solutions delivery across multiple Asian markets. This role owns the technology roadmap, solution design, and delivery execution to modernize Life Insurance platforms, migrate applications to cloud-native, microservices-based architectures, and enable DevOps automation to achieve business growth, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of Life Insurance front-end platforms (PAS, Point of Sale, workflows, distribution systems).

• Define and execute technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy and target IT architecture.

• Lead modernization of legacy systems into cloud-native, microservices and container-based architectures.

• Drive cloud migration, DevOps and CI/CD automation to achieve faster release cycles and high system reliability.

• Standardize Life Insurance systems across countries to improve scalability, reusability and operational efficiency.

• Partner with Group and Country IT teams to design and implement enterprise-wide technology solutions.

• Work closely with business stakeholders (Direct, Agency, Banca, IFA channels) to deliver growth-enabling technology platforms.

• Lead multi-country delivery teams and vendors, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence.

• Own delivery governance, risk management, budget planning and benefit realization.

• Ensure alignment with Agile delivery practices, security standards, and enterprise architecture.

• Mentor and develop technology delivery leaders and teams across markets.

Required Experience, Technical Skills & Leadership Competencies:

• 12+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles (Director / Head of IT / Delivery Lead).

• Strong experience in Insurance IT, preferably Life Insurance systems.

• Proven leadership of Policy Administration Systems (PAS), front-end insurance platforms, and sales/distribution systems (POS, workflows).

• Experience leading large-scale cloud transformation programs (AWS / Azure / GCP).

• Hands-on leadership in cloud-native architecture, microservices, containers, APIs, and DevOps automation (CI/CD, automated deployments, release management).

• Experience managing regional / multi-country technology delivery programs.

• Strong understanding of Life Insurance business processes and end-to-end system flows.

• Proven experience working with system integrators and technology vendors.

• Strong stakeholder management experience with CXOs, business leaders, and vendors.

• Solid understanding of Agile delivery models and enterprise governance frameworks.

• Demonstrated technology leadership and delivery ownership with a strategic mindset and hands-on execution approach.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.

• Results-driven with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

• Proven ability to lead large, multi-country teams and drive high performance.

• Strong financial, budget ownership, and delivery governance skills.
