• Plan, direct and manage multiple infrastructure functions to assure the development and delivery of cost-effective technical solutions and operations to meet current and future business requirements.

• Responsible for organization’s strategic, tactical and day to day voice and data network.

• Responsible for the management and delivery of all appropriate business services in support of business requirements, business initiatives, and business growth

• Develop and manage metrics associated with performance, reliability and recovery.

• Responsible for development and management of network strategies and initiatives that take advantage of existing technologies as well as bring new technologies to ensure that all data is protected and available to appropriate systems, applications, and customers in an efficient manner

• Manage the overall Disaster Recovery plans for the voice and data network to meet business, legal and regulatory requirements.

• Establish and direct strategic vendor relationships that affect the delivery of IT services. Responsible for identifying and implementing vendor offerings that enhance service and reduce operational cost. This includes making important outsource/in-source decisions for technical solutions and functions.

Education/Experience:

• Requires bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. An advanced degree is a plus, preferably in Engineering or Science

• 10 plus years prior IT Network/Telecom related work experience

Additional licensing, certifications, registrations:
• Data Network certifications (CCNP or CCNA) required

• MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer) required

• Telephone PBX System certification preferred
• ITIL certification preferred

Skills and Abilities:

• Requires exceptional analytical thinking skills

• Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others as a team

• Requires having managed a budget of $10+ million

• Requires having managed a blended team of full time employees and contractors (about 30 total)

 Travel (If Applicable): There will be travel from time to time within the state of NJ. On rare occasions there is the possibility of international travel.
