The Role

As Director of IT, you will lead all technology strategy, operations, and innovation for Faena Wadi Safar. You will ensure that systems, infrastructure, and digital platforms support the pre-opening process and ongoing operations, enabling both world-class guest experiences and efficient business performance.

You will act as a trusted partner to the General Manager, Directors, and stakeholders, embedding technology solutions that are secure, resilient, and aligned with Faena’s vision of artistry and precision.

What You Will Create

Technology Strategy & Leadership

• Define and implement Faena Wadi Safar’s IT strategy, ensuring alignment with operational, guest experience, and business objectives.

• Drive digital transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and support the luxury service standard.

• Serve as the strategic IT advisor to ownership and leadership, translating technology capabilities into actionable solutions.

Pre-Opening Readiness

• Lead pre-opening technology planning, including hardware, software, network infrastructure, POS systems, and PMS deployment.

• Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure systems readiness by opening day.

• Develop SOPs, user manuals, and training frameworks for staff to ensure smooth adoption of IT systems.

Systems & Infrastructure

• Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure across property systems, networks, and endpoints.

• Oversee PMS, POS, telecom, BMS integration, cybersecurity, and data management.

• Monitor system performance, resolve technical issues efficiently, and maintain business continuity plans.

Security & Compliance

• Implement IT security protocols and maintain data privacy in line with local and international regulations.

• Ensure compliance with Saudi cybersecurity laws, data protection requirements, and audit readiness.

• Establish risk mitigation plans, disaster recovery strategies, and regular system testing.

Team Leadership & Development

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing IT team with strong technical and service-oriented skills.

• Foster a culture of innovation, problem-solving, and operational excellence.

• Support localization and professional development initiatives for Saudi nationals within the IT department.

Collaboration & Innovation

• Partner with all departments to identify technology opportunities that enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency.

• Drive digital initiatives that reflect Faena’s brand ethos—artistry, storytelling, and attention to detail.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and tools that could elevate hotel operations or guest engagement

Who You Are

• An experienced IT leader with a track record in luxury hospitality, resorts, or complex mixed-use environments.

• Skilled in pre-opening IT planning, systems deployment, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management.

• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Knowledgeable about Saudi IT regulations, cybersecurity standards, and data privacy laws.

• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

• Passionate about using technology to enable exceptional guest experiences while supporting operational excellence.
