The Opportunity
We are seeking a Director of Finance to lead all financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive strategic growth across the U.S. business. This leader will bring deep expertise in financial planning & analysis and accounts receivable management, paired with strong business partnership skills. The role works closely with our Global CEO (based in Newport Beach, CA) and collaborates regularly with the finance team at Hugel Inc. in Korea.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy, Planning & Reporting
Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long- and short-term planning
Oversee preparation of accurate, timely financial statements and reporting
Monitor performance, identify trends and deliver insights to executive leadership
Develop KPI dashboards to support data-driven decision making
Maximize Investments
Build ROI methodologies to guide investment strategy and resource allocation
Identify operational efficiencies, cost-reduction opportunities and revenue maximizing levers
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory agency reporting requirements
Partner with Legal and Compliance to manage audits and financial reviews
Collaboration & Stakeholder Partnership
Partner closely with the global CEO and CFO; prepare materials for executive leadership team and Board meetings
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Distribution partners to support business initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field; CPA, CFA or MBA preferred
10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting
Proficiency with financial systems, analytics tools and ERP platforms required
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills (Korean fluency a plus)
Ability to travel to Korea quarterly as needed
The most likely base pay range for this position is $185,000 to $210,000 per year. Several factors, such as experience, tenure, skills, and particular business needs, will determine an individual’s exact level of compensation. Base salary is only one element of employee compensation at Hugel Aesthetics. The total compensation could include base salary, bonuses, and equity awards.
