We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader for Director- Design & Technical Services. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle management of assigned hotel projects, ensuring complete alignment with Accor Brand Standards and delivering exceptional design excellence.
As Director – Design & Technical Services, you will drive product definition, space programming, and brand design direction while collaborating closely with VP-Design and Technical Services, regional teams, consultants, and hotel owners to bring distinctive hospitality experiences to life.
• Lead end-to-end project management of assigned hotel developments
• Ensure full compliance with Accor Brand Standards and marketing design strategies
• Define and manage product positioning and space planning
• Oversee architects, interior designers, consultants, and project teams
• Conduct design reviews to enhance brand identity, uniqueness, and guest experience
• Manage workshops, stakeholder meetings, and cross-functional coordination
• Source innovative materials, equipment, and design solutions
• Build and strengthen relationships with owners and key external partners
• Travel approximately 30% to monitor project progress and ensure quality execution
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Project Management, or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in hotel design and hospitality projects
• At least 2 years of experience with a hotel operator company
• Strong project management and design leadership capability
• Advanced interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
• Ability to collaborate across multicultural and cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and SketchUp
• Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment
